These blog posts are simply a way for me to give people more in depth updates about what I'm up to personally and more details on Pinpoint Art related things.
Recently I posted on Instagram that I had accepted and was working as Head of Operations for the Dead Man's Hand Expo in Albany. This was a position I was super excited about and had been working with the owner since October 2024 to solidify that job and title.
I have since taken that post down, because... I am no longer in that position! I decided to leave because ultimately it came down to the owner and I not really being on the same page for our future goals.
It was such an unusual thing for me to walk away from a job like that before I've even really seen the results of my personal work, but I just couldn't shake this feeling that it was the wrong place for me.
As some of you know, I have wanted to bring a tattoo convention to Albany for a long time, so I am still excited that there is one happening here. The owner of Dead Man's Hand and I parted ways on pleasant terms and I'm excited to see what his convention will have to offer for years to come :) While I am not creating my own tattoo expo at the moment, I do think there is still a future for me there, so I'm sure I'll have more updates along the way.
If you want updates about other things, ask in the comments please! I'll be using this portion of the Pinpoint Art website to address various things instead of bombarding social media with posts that not everyone is interested in.
