Contraindications

IF YOU ARE SICK

If you have a cold, fever, runny nose, sore throat, flu, etc. or have the onset of symptoms of an illness, you will be required to reschedule or cancel your appointment. If you arrive for your appointment with

symptoms of an illness or if you appear sick, we reserve the right to refuse service and you will get
charged full service price.

IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO TATTOO PIGMENT AND MAKEUP.

IF YOU ARE PRONE TO KELOIDS OR HYPERTROPHIC SCARRING.

IF YOU TAKE IMMUNE SUPPRESSING MEDICATION FOR TRANSMITTABLE BLOOD
CONDITIONS LIKE HIV, AIDS, or HEPATITIS
.

The risk of developing an infection is higher in people with a compromised immune system. Medication can also affect results. Pigment retention will be significantly lower and brows may require multiple sessions to achieve or maintain the desired
look.

IF YOU HAVE CANCER OR IN CHEMOTHERAPY.

IF YOU HAVE LUPUS.

We are not able to perform services for any individual under 18 regardless or parental consent.

IF YOU HAVE BOTOX AND FILLERS

 You must wait 3 weeks prior and 3 weeks after. 

IF YOU  HAVE SKIN CONDITIONS ON OR NEAR EYEBROWS. This includes
rashes, acne, sores, psoriasis, eczema, melasma, varicella, rosacea, shingles, open cuts, wounds,
etc. Not only does it compromise the surface of your skin and prevent an artist from working on an
ideal canvas, the process can spread bacteria to other parts of the skin and/or worsen existing
breakouts.

IF YOU HAVE A HEALING DISORDERS OR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE.

IF YOU ARE IRON DEFICIENT OR ANEMIC.

Bleeding and bruising may occur during and after the procedure. It will reduce the pigment absorption as blood will push the ink and slow down the healing process and result in poor pigment retention

IF YOU HAVE A VIRAL INFECTION AND/OR DISEASE. The risk of developing an
infection is higher in people with a compromised immune system. Medication can also affect results.

IF YOU ARE PREGNANT

As the body is going through hormonal changes, it is
more prone to infections and bleeding. Numbing cream that contains epinephrine can affect the
development of an unborn baby, potentially causing cardiac abnormalities. 

IF YOU ARE USING A TOPICAL STEROID, OR USING ACCUTANE, RETIN-A OR RENOVA.

If you use Accutane, you will need to wait one year after your Accutane treatment is completed. Accutane
alters the skin and makes it thin, dry, and sensitive. It also weakens your immune system so you will
have to wait until your skin is back to its normal state.

IF YOU HAVE EPILEPSY.

It is unsafe to undergo treatment in case of a seizure.

IF YOU HAVE A PACEMAKER OR MAJOR HEART PROBLEMS.

IF YOU ARE ON BLOOD THINNER OR HAVE BLEEDING DISORDERS.

IF YOU HAVE DIABETES.

  • If any of the below apply to you, you are not a suitable candidate for brows with Jasmine. for PMU procedures.

  • It is your responsibility to receive clearance from a doctor if you have any permanent make up (PMU) contraindications.

  • By sending an appointment request, you are certifying that you have pre-checked your eligibility for PMU procedures and can get PMU procedures done.
